Oceanic Bank International Plc has launched a customers’ programme tagged “Reward Partner Programme,” designed to effectively enhance the status of its teeming customers.
The programme entailed strategic partnership with some leading corporate organisations with a view to rendering services that suit the specific lifestyle of its various customers across the country at a highly discounted rate.
“The partnership is aimed at extending the services rendered by these organisations through Oceanic Bank at preferential rates to its valued customers especially the High Networth and the Affluent (HNI), as well as mass market, growing businesses and Nigerians in Diaspora (NID),” the bank said in a statement.
Organisations, which have signed up for the programme include AA Rescue, an automobile emergency rescue service provider; Avis Nigeria, an international car rental company; Virgin Atlantic, a global airline; Aero Contractors, air travel and aviation service provider and Priscilla’s Pride, a skin and wellness centre.
Under the strategic reward partnership programme, customers of the bank can make use of the services and products of the partnering corporate bodies at a preferred pricing, different from what obtains generally.
In the same vein, the organisations would have the advantage of having their services and products promoted through the bank’s over 450 business offices across the country.
Ade Asekun, head, Retail Banking Group, Oceanic Bank said that much as the bank’s customers are offered variety of services and products at one stop desk, the companies will also be enjoying increased visibility through the bank sponsored adverts which would feature the partners’ logo.
“The goal is to have the partners leverage on the bank’s network to deliver volumes by providing concessionary pricing to qualifying retail customers of the bank and by that establish a win-win situation to all parties,” he said.
He stated that banking in Nigeria over the last one decade has witnessed significant transformation with the consolidation exercise having far reaching impacts on the banking sector.
Asekun maintained that Oceanic bank has been able to face retail competition and successfully differentiate itself from the pack to have an edge through product innovation and increased customers’ awareness.
The programme according to him is a novel one initiated by the bank as a way of rewarding its most valued customers with lifestyle benefits.
