Tramigo, manufacturers of cost efficient personal asset tracking devices has opened its first regional support centre in Lagos to support its distributor/reseller/service provider partners for the vast local market.

The new office and its local, highly trained, multi-lingual support staff also provide rapid warranty and repair services to resellers in neighboring countries.

Tramigo said that good local support is a critical factor for both private vehicle and corporate fleet owners when deciding on the tracking product or service of their choice.

The tracking product industry is flooded with low cost, low quality, mostly Chinese manufactured hardware with poor or no warranty service combined with very high defect rates.

Fleet management and recovery service providers should be very careful when choosing their tracking hardware, as after-sales costs with high defect rate and poor local service can wipe out all profits.

On the other hand, corporate fleet owners and private car owners who evaluate different service providers should also carefully study which tracking hardware is used, to avoid operational issues and worst case loss of vehicles, due to poor quality tracking hardware. Tramigo offers 24 months warranty with excellent local support and rapid repair service along with the lowest defect rate in the World.

"We are pleased to extend our excellent distributor and reseller support quality in Nigeria and West Africa. Our target is to open similar centres throughout Sub-Sahara, and to make sure our distributor, reseller and fleet service provider partners can enjoy the best possible support delivered promptly at as local a level as possible. As well, end-users can comfortably choose Tramigo as we are here for good and our support is responsible and any repairs are done in less than 72 hours in our new Lagos Warranty Repair Centre", said CEO Arto Tiitinen.

He added that, "the Lagos Support Centre is part of our aggressive plan to become the first global vehicle tracking product brand and to offer support and warranty services in a very local and trustworthy way. The tracking business is a security and monitoring business with high requirements for reliability. Many of our competitors offer very lousy or no local after-sales service. We also want to be the forerunners in after-sales service and reliability in this industry."
