Students of Imo State University (IMSU), will tell tales long after the electrifying concert, raffle draws, exciting football match and motivational seminar wrapped together in the Etisalat CliqFest, the education and entertainment event powered by EasyCliq, which began on Wednesday, 26th February on the IMSU campus.

Day One of the CliqFest brought life values to the undergraduates at a seminar themed ‘Success Activation’, facilitated by seasoned motivational speaker and President, Fifth Gear Consulting, Niyi Adesanya, who taught leadership skills required to become champions. Adesanya also took the students through principles of success, as they emerge into the corporate world or start their own businesses.

Celebrities such as Terry G, Phyno and Frenzy thrilled the students on Day Two when the three hip-hop singers leapt on stage to perform their hit songs. The first runner-up from Nigerian Idol Season 2, Naomi Mac, also gave a soulful performance at the event.

The peak of Cliqfest IMSU was when final year Microbiology Student, Tochukwu Faith Ugwueke, emerged raffle draw winner of a brand new Kia Picanto. “I am so excited! I only came to purchase an Etisalat SIM card and to watch Phyno and Terry G perform. From now on, I am a proud ambassador of Etisalat Easy Cliq and Etisalat is my Number One network!” She said.

Acting Chief Executive Officer of Etisalat Nigeria, Matthew Willsher, who sent his warm wishes to the students, said the telco’s desire was to touch the lives of young persons across Nigeria, with this being the 38th CliqFest activation in a Nigerian institution. ‘A mixture of networking, education and entertainment allow us to meet this objective. Our desire is to motivate all-round development in our students. We want our youths to be balanced, confident, connected and in touch with the ever-changing career turns, with social trends and lifestyles.’ He said.
