Globacom, Nigeria’s first wholly indigenous multinational telecommunications company, has unveiled its new brand campaign, "Never Settle For Less", alongside products created to deliver greater value and seamless digital experiences for customers.

The unveiling took place at a funfare media event held at the company's headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos, as Globacom marks 23 years of innovation and service in Nigeria's telecommunications industry.

The bold campaign message, “Never Settle For Less”, calls on Nigerians to never settle for less when it comes to pursuing their goals, aspirations and everyday experiences. It also encourages people to demand more for themselves and make choices that help them move closer to success.

Uche Ogwuda, who delivered the company’s welcome address, disclosed that digital technology has become one of the most powerful tools for personal and business growth. "Digital services have become a powerful force for transforming lives. People who understand how technology can support their ambitions also understand the importance of never settling for less," she said.

To reinforce the transformative campaign, the company unveiled four new offerings. According to the company, each product has been designed to deliver greater value and a more rewarding customer experience.

The widely popular Glo Talkmasta “6 for 6” has been reloaded with more benefits to make customers happier for making calls on the network. Hitherto, the product gave subscribers six free call minutes and 50 MB data for every 6 minutes of talk.

Now, apart from getting the free 6 minutes, they also get FREE 100MB (50 MB More).

This offer is the best-value tariff plan for customers in Nigeria and reinforces Glo as the network that gives more talk time plus Free Data, on every 6 minutes of use.

Glo has also enhanced its existing Welcome Bonus Offer, as it now rewards every new customer who purchases and activates a Glo SIM with benefits worth N2,100.

These include 20 minutes of calls to all networks, 2GB free data and a free 1-month GloTv Premium subscription.

A first-of-its-kind telecom product in Nigeria was also unveiled by the company at the event.

Called Magic Data Bundle, it is a new data proposition that ensures every qualifying bundle purchase includes a guaranteed data allocation together with an automatic Magic Bonus Data allocation.

This ensures that customers always receive the guaranteed bundle and receive additional bonus data.

The bonus amount, however, varies according to the predefined bonus allocation matrix.

“The Magic Bonus Data transforms data subscription into a rewarding experience because customers know they will always receive the guaranteed data purchased while also anticipating an additional Magic Bonus.

The product is offered at 2 price points – N1600 & N 3500.  Customers receive between 500 MB and 12GB magic bonuses on different Magic Data Bundles,” Ogwuda stated.

Glo current and prospective customers can buy magic bundles through Glo Café App or by dialling *312#.

Globacom also unveiled a significantly upgraded version of its Glo Café App.

The refreshed platform features a modern user interface, enhanced security and additional payment options.

A major highlight is Gloria, Globacom's new AI powered voice and text assistant, which helps customers find answers, resolve enquiries and discover offers within seconds.

Available in English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French and Spanish, Gloria is easily the first multilingual AI customer service assistant introduced by a Nigerian telecommunications company.

The app also comes with exclusive benefits including 100GB free for first time registrations, 100 percent bonus on every recharge, special data offers such as 10GB for ₦2,500, and 10 percent extra data on bundle purchases.

Guests at the event also shared personal stories reflecting their "Never Settle For Less" experience in life.

Mai Atafo, fashion entrepreneur, recalled leaving a successful corporate career to pursue his passion for fashion, a decision he described as one of the defining moments of his life.

Today, he is widely regarded as one of Africa's leading fashion designers.

Dr Rueben Abati, celebrated columnist and TV anchor,  noted that he had consistently challenged himself to go further rather than settle for less.

He noted that this mindset has contributed to his reaching the peak of his career today.

He also commended Globacom for its commitment to innovation over the years, describing innovation as the soul of business, whether in technology, business development, entertainment or other areas. According to him, Globacom has continued to stay at the top of its game by pushing boundaries.
