22 Foreign Airlines Cleared By NCAA For Private Operations

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has issued Flight Operations Clearance Certificate (FOCC) and Maintenance Clearance Certificate (MCC) to 22 Foreign Registered Privately operated aircraft.

According to the management of NCAA in a statement during the week, quoted from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations (Nig. CARs) 8.2.1.9 that operators of the registered aircraft are only authorised to operate within Nigeria strictly for private operation only and not for hire or reward, not for commercial purpose.
 
The successful operators are Air First, ANAP Business Jets, ATT Aviation Support Ltd., AVJET Corporation, BUA Group Limited, Chrome Air, Delmon Aviation/C&K, Dominion Air, EAN Aviation Limited, Executive Jets, Ferry Aviation Dev. Serv., Gitto Construzioni, Grenfact Ventures Ltd, Gyro Air limited, NAMCO Nig. Limited, Orlean Invest West Africa.
 
Others are Prime Air, Project Eagle Air Ltd, Southern Air, SWAT Technology Ltd, Tag Aviation Ltd and Toucan Aviation Support.
 
The use of these operators’ aircraft for commercial operations, according to NCAA, would be in violation of the NCARs 9.1.1.4(a)(b) and would attract appropriate sanctions by the Authority.‎
