For Nigeria to overcome the numerous challenges confronting it and also achieve its full potentials, leaders and all Nigerians have been urged to exhibit high values and ignore ethnicity.
Gen. Abdulsamai Abubakar (rtd.), former head of State, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, Lagos State Governor and Mr. Segun Ogunsanya, managing director and chief executive officer, Airtel Nigeria and other leaders, shared this thought at the unveiling of a top-class online newspaper, ‘The Cable’, in Lagos on Tuesday.
They believed Nigerians should eschew their political differences and foster cooperation among one another to move the nation forward.
This charge was given at The Cable unveiling, where a panel of discussants looked at the topic, “Nigeria at 100: Reflections on the Future.”
Former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsamai Abubakar who chaired the occasion encouraged politicians to ignore political difference and work together to overcome the security challenges in the country.
