Asoko Insight and the Netherlands-African Business Council (NABC) will jointly host a trade visit with over 20 major Dutch corporations to attend, Mr. Obi Ejimofo, chief operations officer at Asoko Insight told Nigeria CommunicationsWeek.
According to Ejimofo, the trade visit that in hold February 2017, will attract attention of partners seeking trade partnership and investment opportunities in four sectors key sectors in Nigeria- Agricultural Processing; Renewable Energy; Construction and FMCG - Manufacturing (including Food and Beverages).
A four-day trade visit tagged “Doing Business In Nigeria” seminar, the visit is tailor-made matchmaking between Dutch and Nigerian firms; sector cluster company site visits; cocktail dinner, Dutch Embassy visit and other networking opportunities.
He said that the visit will be an exclusive commercial trade mission organised in co-operation with the Dutch Embassy in Nigeria on a strictly invitation-only basis for top executives from Nigerian firms operating in the aforementioned sectors while a sequence of networking and matchmaking sessions will be organised for participants in Lagos and Abuja, as well as a select number of site tours for the visiting delegation.
“Asoko Insight and the NABC are sponsoring this initiative as the first in their collaboration to enhance trade and investment flows between the Netherlands and Sub-Saharan African markets.
On the participation processes, he said, “There are no attendance fees for participants, but spaces will be limited to the key executives of those companies invited to participate. Interested companies are invited to apply through the following methods: Complete and submit the application form, either Or email to [email protected]”, he said.
Ejimofo added that submissions will be accepted until the deadline of September 30th. “Applications will be reviewed and shortlisted based on matching requirements and shortlisted participants will be contacted for any additional information required; Invitations will be sent to participating firms by no later than November 30th;
