A plane, belonging to Associated Airlines, crashed this morning at the Lagos Airport.

The crash occurred at the local wing of the airport, near the cargo shed and about 20 people were said to be on board.  The plane was said to be Akure, Ondo state bound.

National Environment Management Authority (NEMA)  has confirmed two people were killed in the crash.

Ramon Olanrewaju, an eye witnessposted on his facebook page “Just witnessed a plane crashed at the airport. I was at a private hangar waiting for a flight to Ghana . The plane, an Embraer, I was told, was taking off, and plunged to a building, close to Tank Farm at the airport, close to toll gate. SAD! Not again!!”
