The Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria has described the death of Engr. Mrs. Florence Omatule Seriki, founder, Omatek Ventures as a rude surprise because she died when the entire Nigeria ICT Industry needed her sheer determination, business acumen and deep insight to drive the Nigerian Local Content to a positive conclusion.
According to a statement signed by Olusola Teniola, President, ATCON, ‘to us at the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria, Engr. Mrs. Florence Omatule Seriki can be described as an entrepreneur per excellence, a patriot, a goal getter, a nationalist, an industrialist and an advocate of Nigerian local content.
The Nigerian ICT Space stopped breathing following the announcement of the death of a woman who passionately and tirelessly championed the drive for Nigerian Local Content in the person of Engr. Mrs. Florence Omatule Seriki.’
The Association and its teeming members pray that the Almighty God grant the husband, the children and the entire family of late Engr. Mrs. Florence Omatule Seriki the fortitude to bear this irrevocable loss and also grant her gentle soul eternal and peaceful rest.
