Dana Air has announced key appointments including that of  Alberto Mansilla, as new director of Maintenance & Engineering; Ememobong Akam Ettete, head of Operations; and Adil Bourmaki, Head of Safety.

Commenting on the new appointments, Jacky Hathiramani, chief executive of Dana Air said: "Our mission at Dana Air is to consistently deliver the best quality services throughout our operations by attracting and retaining the most qualified personnel, and continuous investment in staff training”.

He said further that: “Alberto Mansilla, our new Director of Maintenance & Engineering brings with him 36 years of experience from leading global aviation outfits as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer; Ememobong Akam Ettete, head of Operations, is very well experienced in Flight Scheduling and On-time Performance while Adil Bourmaki, head of Safety, is a certified IATA and ICAO Instructor.”

He added: “Together with the rest of the Dana Air team, they are highly motivated to meet, and even exceed, the flying aspirations of our guests, providing a level of service that is unrivaled in Nigeria’s aviation industry. We relish the opportunity to serve the flying public and we will continue to go the extra mile to advance guests’ satisfaction.”

Only recently, Dana Air became the first airline in Nigeria to introduce the Roving Agent, a mobile device which allows guests to be checked-in on arrival at the airport by mobile airline staff, providing quicker and more convenient check-in services.

Dana Air currently operates twelve (12) flights daily on the Lagos-Abuja-Lagos route, four (4) flights daily on the Lagos-Port Harcourt-Lagos route and two (2) flights daily on the Abuja-Port Harcourt-Abuja route.

The airline is reputed for its efficient customer services, world-class in-flight services, on-time departures and arrivals, innovative e-airline products and high quality standards.
