Davido’s new song “Assurance” lead the top trended search on Google Nigeria in the last seven days
Mr Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade, Communications & public Affair Manager, Google West Africa, disclosed this in a dispatch sent to Nigeria communicationsweek on Wednesday afternoon.
He said, “Over the weekend, singer, songwriter, and record producer Davido released the video for his latest track, “Assurance”.
“The video has drawn a lot of attention, at least in part because it features Davido’s lover Chioma Rowland.
“The song is an ode to Chioma, with Davido also gifting her N45-million Porsche for her 25th birthday.
Kola-Ogunlade, noted that another trended story on Google search this past seven days was the match between Man United vs Arsenal.
He said, “There was a period in the 1990s and early 2000s when any clash between Manchester United and Arsenal was virtually guaranteed to be the most fiercely competed in English football.
“Often, that had as much to do with the perceived antagonism between Wenger and then Manchester United Manager Sir Alex Ferguson as the actual game itself“.
On Sunday, people were reminded of those days as The Gunners took on The Red Devils for the last time under Wenger’s leadership.
The match ended in victory for United, although the silverware was presented by Ferguson to Wenger as a retirement gift.
