Etisalat Nigeria, Nigeria’s most innovative telecommunications company has formally launched its repackaged and recharged Easy Starter package.
The Easy Starter package is Etisalat’s flagship product that comes with affordable value proposition to the Nigerian market.
Speaking on the rationale behind the recharged products at a press conference to announce the relaunch in Lagos, Wael Ammar, chief operating officer, Etisalat explained that the company constantly seeks new ways to ensure customer satisfaction, hence its decision to review the product and load it with more unique offerings for the benefits of its teeming customers.
“We constantly review our products with a commitment to always raise the bar in our customers’ satisfaction. We are confident that the all new Easy Starter will surpass the expectation of our customers,” Ammar said.
In addition to features like Home Zone, Receiver Pays, Missed Calls Notification and Recharge others, the recharged qualities that contributed to making the all new easy starter a much better proposition for its subscribers and potential subscribers, is the inclusion of exclusive features like “You & Me” and the Bonus on Incoming Calls (BOIC) to the Easy Starter package.
The “You & Me” allows customers register a preferred Etisalat number as their “You & Me” number to enjoy N300 worth of free minutes to the number every week. The Bonus on Incoming Calls feature offers subscribers one free minute for every three minutes of calls received from other networks within a month.
The all new Easy Starter also boasts of existing features like the Home Zone and Receiver Pays which were an instant hit that successfully endeared the company to the hearts of subscribers when the company launched commercially into the country in October, 2008.
All a subscriber needs to do is to recharge at least N200 in a week and get 10 free “You & Me” minutes. Though the service is available by default, subscribers need to register their ‘special’ number by dialing *233*1*08xxxxxxxxx# (the preferred number) to register for free.
Bonus on incoming Calls, though an existing feature on Easy Cliq offers customers one free minute for every three minutes of calls they receive from other networks. The three incoming minutes can be accumulated over a period of time within the same month and the one minute bonus can be used to call any other network.
The most innovative GSM provider has also hit the 4million subscriber mark and has been able to cover the 36 states of the federation, which is an attestation to its increasing footprints in the country.
