eTranzact, Nigeria’s first and leading multi-channel payment platform provider, has entered into partnership with Virgin Nigeria to make booking for flight considerably easy and stress-free for all Virgin Nigeria customers.
This is coming on the heels of the eTranzact mCommerce platform that now eases bill payment for Multichoice subscribers.
Mr Valentine Obi, chief executive officer, eTranzact, said, “the relationship (Virgin Nigeria) entails eTranzact’s integration of Virgin Nigeria into its payment platform for online purchase of tickets within and outside Nigeria.”
“Customers of Virgin Nigeria no longer have to rush to the airport terminals or spend useful man-hour trying to queue up at various outlets trying to book tickets for their flights,” Obi disclosed, adding that customers of Virgin can now log unto their website, book and pay for their tickets using their eTranzact cards or any other card recommended by Virgin. Once payment is completed, customers automatically receive their e-Tickets thereby ensuring a swift and seamless transaction circle.
Obi also added that the services being provided for Virgin by eTranzact will ensure that customers who patronize Virgin Nigeria derive maximum pleasure as regards convenient and cost effective payment options. He also promises to make this service available for all other airlines operational in Nigeria.
This partnership is part of eTranzact’s abiding vision of providing secure electronic payment solutions for organizations operating in the country and beyond through its award-winning switching platform.”
Elsewhere, DStv subscribers across the federation no longer have to go through stress while renewing their monthly subscription.
This is because eTranzact, now affords DStv subscribers the opportunity to conveniently pay their monthly subscription using their mobile phones.
Obi, explained that the eTranzact mCommerce platform enables subscribers to pay with any card of their choice as opposed to restriction to certain banks, which was the practice in the past. He stressed the fact that eTranzact`s mCommerce platform can now accept multiple cards from multiple financial institutions all on one mobile phone.
“This service will minimize queues at MultiChoice offices and afford subscribers the opportunity to more effectively manage scarce time and resources.”
According to Obi, “eTranzact’s mCommerce is a mobile platform with customized menu that accepts debit cards from multiple financial institutions on one phone. This means that DStv subscribers, irrespective of the banks where their accounts are domiciled, can pay conveniently from the comfort of their homes or offices using their mobile phones.”
“By this gesture,” Obi reiterates, “DStv subscribers now have more liberty to enjoy their favourite programmes without being disconnected.” He urged DStv`s current and prospective subscribers to sign onto the eTranzact mCommerce platform this festive season and avoid the rush associated with the season.
