Staff of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) have been enjoyed to remain committed to successful operations as the Maiduguri Airport opens for commercial operations.
Engineer Saleh Dunoma, managing director of FAAN, who stated this also commended staff for ensuring that facilities and equipment of the Authority where maintained while the airport was shutdown.
He called on them to make safety, security and passenger comfort their key objectives in line with the mandate of the Authority.
Dunoma assured them of management's support as they operate in midst of security challenges urging them to keep supporting the Federal government especially the Armed Agencies using their facilities.
In his response, Mr. Saidu Nazeef, Maiduguri airport manager, appreciated the Managing Director for his support and special interest noting that staff have been reinvigorated to excel in their duties.
