Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has called on all intending air travellers to visit the Aviation Passenger Service (APS) Portal as a first step in planning their journeys, especially in this harmattan season.
Yakubu Dati, general manager, Corporate Communications, FAAN, said that it has become imperative so as passengers will experience flight delays and cancellations due to bad weather.
The APS portal launched last month by Osita Chidoka, minister of Aviation, is designed as a one-stop platform where the flying public can access real time information about airlines operations and services at any of the airports in Nigeria.
The platform which can be accessed on www.aviationportal.com.ng is a reliable source for verified information purposely designed to empower passengers travelling by air from within and outside Nigeria with accurate data with which they can make informed decisions and plan their journey.
The portal also serves as a channel to create positive passenger experience even after the trip.
