Mr. Steve Gukas, a veteran film producer, has commended the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) for measures taken to avert the spread of Ebola Virus at our airports.
Gukas was speaking when he paid a courtesy call to the authority recently at the commencement of shooting of a film on the Ebola scourge.
He explained that the Film ‘93 Days’ was a concept intended to showcase the activities that pioneered and ensured the total eradication of Ebola in Nigeria, especially as it concerned our airports which were the major gateways into our country.
Gukas commended the efforts of FAAN at ensuring that ebola was completely stamped out through measures put in place by the authority at the airport asides the general transformation that has taken place in the nation’s airports.
Mr. Kabiru Yusuf Muhammed, chief of staff to the MD/CEO, who received the producer on behalf of the chief executive thanked him for the laudable initiative and promised that FAAN would continue to do everything humanly possible in order to ensure the security and safety of all airport users.
