Gavin Young Succeeds Ebuehi as ChamsSwitch’s General Manager

The management of Chams Nigeria Plc has appointed Mr. Gavin Young as the new General Manager of its subsidiary, ChamsSwitch. Young succeeds Mr. Francis Ebuehi, the pioneered General Manager of the company who quit recently to pursue other interests.
ChamsSwitch is an electronic payment switch that has built a world class transaction switching platform that can process and settle payment transactions efficiently, using globally recognized solutions to aid interconnectivity to issuers, acquirers, merchants, service providers and other switches (both locally and internationally).
Young has become a prominent figure in Nigerian e-payment industry since his transfer to Nigeria by Visa International as Nigeria’s head. He later joined UBA Group as the Division Head, Card Business when his appointment at Visa was terminated. He was with SuperCard, another Chams’ subsidiary before his present position.
