Globacom has introduced a new tariff plan called “Go Infinito” which offers the best rate of 25 kobo per second for calls to every network in Nigeria.
A special tariff package with special benefits to Nigerians, Glo Infinito will enable Glo subscribers to now talk as much as they want, build their relationships and grow their businesses. With an activation code of *103* 1*1#, Glo infinito offers the best ever call rates anywhere in Nigeria for all calls. The new tariff plan also offers 35 hours free night calls from 12 midnight to 5am and 20% bonus on all airtime recharge from N500 and above.
With the new tariff game changer, the national operator says there is no better time for every Nigerian who wants value for money, quality service delivery and a slice of the prosperity Glo has promised its subscribers in Nigeria and across the continent to be on the Glo network.
Speaking on the new tariff plan in Enugu, David Maji, Glo National Sales Coordinator, , explained that, Glo Infinito offers the best ever call rates in Nigeria at 25 kobo per second for all calls to any network in Nigeria without any rentals. “With Glo Infinito, our customers will no longer worry about the amount of money they spend on the phone”.
The new tariff plan covers 24 states in Nigeria. These include Kebbi, Sokoto, Kano, Katsina, Zamfara, Jigawa, Kaduna, Taraba, Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, Gombe, Bauchi and Plateau.
In the East, Glo Infinito covers Enugu, Imo, Anambra, Ebonyi and Abia states. Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross Rivers and Akwa Ibom states in South South and Ekiti in the west.
According to Maji, Glo Infinito is the most attractive tariff available to subscribers in Nigeria as the rates are competitive and there are no monthly rentals or hidden charges as with similar packages offered by other operators in the telecom industry. “The introduction of this new tariff is further proof of our determination to bring the cost of making calls to the barest possible minimum, make quality telephony affordable and pass on additional benefits to our subscribers”, he said.
John Ogbu, Enugu State Commissioner for Transportation and Enugu Capital Development Territory, commended Globacom for its efforts in making telephony affordable to Nigerians. “For me, I am thrilled with what has happened here today. For an indigenous network like Glo to be able to compete with foreign companies and become number one in the industry, it deserves applause. Glo is complementing the efforts of Enugu State Government in transforming the state. Enugu is the right place to kick off Infonito. Let us make Enugu and the south East to glow. We are very happy and I will be using Glo Infonito. We should make sure we support our own. I am certain Glo will triumph,” the commissioner declared.
Since its progressive roll-out in 2003, Glo has consistently offered its subscribers the best value for money by being the first operator to offer per second billing (PSB). This innovation made it possible for subscribers to get value by paying for actual time spent on the phone.
Glo also changed the telecom landscape by introducing the most innovative products such as the fast and efficient 3G plus modems and the highly functional Blackberry which is now available to prepaid subscribers.” A customer-focused approach to its products and services has enabled the company to give back to our subscribers through reward schemes and promos such as the “text-4-millions” promo which created hundreds of millionaires across the country”, said Dimkpa.
Glo, is a leader in the telecoms sector with over 20 million subscribers including professionals and business men and women, students, artisans and people in the rural communities.
