HiTV brings smiles to homes and gives subscribers value for their money this month with the boost of channels with new exciting programmes.
All of us, a comedy series would air at 7pm on Mondays and Thursdays through April, on Hi Mix. The series is inspired by the domestic lives of celebrities Jada Pinkett-Smith and Will Smith, and reflects a new generation's enlightened attitude towards those who juggle ex-spouses, dating and professional lives.
Robert James, an entertainment reporter for a local Los Angeles television station, is handsome, smart and thoroughly modern in his thinking. Recently divorced from the somewhat self-absorbed Neesee, the mother of their endearing 6-year-old son, Robert refuses to buy into the old stereotype that being divorced means you can't get along with your former heart-throb.
So the story goes.
Jpod, another comedy series will thrill viewers through April and is slated for every Tuesday at 7pm on Hi Mix.
This is an adaptation of Douglas Coupland’s bestselling novel by two top Canadian writers. The show revolves around a group of video game programmers whose last names all begin with “J.” It is a hilarious series starring David Kopp, Steph Song, Sherry Miller, among others.
Smallville, a drama Sci-fi that tells the tale of a teenage Clark Kent in the days before he was Superman will be on air Mondays and Fridays all through the month.
Clark must deal with a variety of individuals given powers by the green rocks, keep his powers a secret, and cope with his friendship with a young Lex Luthor. It stars Tom Welling and Allison Mack.
Harry Porter movies are not left out, and those who are fascinated by the paranormal sure have a date with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on April 12 at 9pm; and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on April 19 at 9pm.
The Island, an action sci-fi movie is scheduled to hold the viewer of Hi Mix channel hostage on April 26 at 9pm. The plot of the movie revolves around Lincoln Six-Echo who is a resident of a seemingly utopian but contained facility in the mid 21st century. Like all of the inhabitants of this carefully controlled environment, Lincoln hopes to be chosen to go to the Island - reportedly the last uncontaminated spot on the planet. But Lincoln soon discovers that everything about his existence is a lie.
It’s never a dull moment for the kids as Super 7, a 7pm daily film experience on Hi Kids will be launched for the viewing pleasure of kids and the young at heart.
On Hi Life channel, the fun continues with Family Court with Judge Penny. It is a syndicated TV series that focuses on Judge Penny Brown Reynolds as she presides over cases involving custody disputes and arguments between couples and parents.
In Hard Out, also showing on Hi Life, it appears skateboards Jeff and Noodle are the only ones in Middletown that are aware that aliens live in their hometown. Together they must join forces to save their skate park from demolition.
In what appears to be a rain of exciting programmes on Hi Life, the oversized people need not worry as they would find out a way to slim down in Downsize Me.
It is a TV3’s ultimate weight loss series which guarantees a super-sized serving of sweat, tears and sensational results as diet guru Damian Kristof and straight-talking trainer Lee-Anne Wann help overweight New Zealanders to get on the path to lifelong, good health in only two months. The results are astounding!
Reputed to be Nigeria's first comprehensive contemporary Christian creative and lifestyle TV show, X2D presented by Tee Pee airs on the Hi Life channel everyday featuring interviews, artiste profile, events coverage, photo reel, sing Africa, viewers reel, loud & alive, X2D top five videos, among others.
