Nigeria’s largest online mall Konga.com has reached out to less privileged children at Little Saints Orphanage Akowonjo to show them love as it develops sustainable partnership with various homes.

During the visit, the Matron for the Little Saints Orphanage Akowonjo branch Mrs. Famous enlightened the visiting Konga staff on the history of Little Saints Orphanage and its journey of rescuing abused and ravished children through the years.

She further enlightened the Konga team on the legal way to adopt an orphan in Lagos State.

Speaking on the visit, Mayowa Adebayo; Director, Customer Experience & Marketing said, “Konga’s commitment to seeking opportunities to show love and make lasting impact in the society drives us to give back as we seek out children from credible homes to support them morally and financially so they can look beyond their past and strive to be all they aspire to be.” She further added that in the coming months, Konga.com will be embarking on more initiatives aimed at helping children harness their potentials especially in technology related fields.

You may recall that Konga.com sponsored a number of children from the Lagos State Government Motherless Babies Home to the Audax Code School 2015 Summer Classes aimed at teaching children web programming skills.

They also donated laptops to students of the Bethsaida School of the Blind in Mushin who had started learning to use laptops despite their sight deficiency.

Mrs. Famous expressed gratitude to Konga.com for the love and thought in reaching out to children at the home.
