As the exciting wave of M-Net’s Big Brother Africa 4, tagged: “The Revolution” hits Nigeria, MultiChoice followed the train to FCT for a second round of auditions.
The turn out in Abuja was a clear manifestation of how huge Big Brother Africa reality TV show is. Interested hopefuls flooded Protea Asokoro in their hundreds as early as 7am last week Tuesday.
While the Lagos leg saw more male hopefuls, Abuja can proudly boast of more females hoping to clinch the number one spot. The desire to be the Nigerian housemate in the house was all the more apparent as a few auditioning tried to find answers to perceived possible questions.
Speaking to a few prospective housemates, some of their responses were that the show was an avenue for them to showcase their talents, creativity and their country with the money an added advantage.
Also commenting on the auditions and show was Segun Fayose, head of Corporate Communications, MultiChoice Nigeria, who said: “Big brother is back, bigger and better and this year’s edition is a testament to M-Net’s promise to deliver to subscribers’ premium entertainment. M-Net over the years has brought to Africa and Nigeria many other world class shows like, Idols West Africa, Survivor Nigeria and the recently concluded dance show, Let’s Dance and only hopes to go on creating many more world class programmes.”
