Mnet musical reality show train was at City’s Cultural Centre, Cross River State to pick three more young talents for the semi-finals stage of Naija Sings 2.
The winners who would move on to the semi-final stage of the competition include; Favour Abam, Rasine Brown and Leonard Etta. These three singing sensation would in August move to Lagos for the semi-final stage of the show.
The auditions/regional finals of Naija Sings reality show which is expected to take place in seven cities across the geo-political zones would see the final winner smile home with USD 100 000.  
Speaking on the reality show Mrs. Biola Alabi, managing director of M-Net Africa said the singing competition is designed to refine raw musical acts and showcase Nigeria’s best musical talents to the whole of Africa.
Giving details of the show format, Mr. Segun Fayose, head, Corporate Communications, MultiChoice Nigeria pointed out that each week a different musical genre will be profiled including Afrobeat, Fuji, Afro Juju, Naija Classic Pop, Naija Contemporary Hits, Highlife as well as International RnB, Soul and Motown Classics. “Audiences can look out for special celebrity guests performers, the show promises to be an exciting one,” he commented.
DStv audiences can get ready to see all the Naija Sings actions and attitude, including footage from the auditions, when the series began on M-Net in September 19. “It will be made available on AfricaMagic to subscribers on the bouquets shortly after its screening on M-Net. Naija Sings will also be available on M-Net HD,” Fayose said.
