MTN has introduced the MTN Internet Netbook Bundle to the Nigerian market.
Derek Appiah, Chief Enterprise Solutions officer, MTN said the novel product, will further deepen access to the mobile broadband internet, and serve as a catalyst for economic growth and development in the country.
The Netbook or ‘mini-laptop’ or ultraportable as it is commonly called, is a thin, lightweight, portable computer designed to enhance mobility and easy access to the internet.
The Internet Netbook bundle offers customers a choice of any of MTN’s Internet solutions- MTN Fastlink, MTN HyNet, or MTN HyConnect on sleek, but affordable Netbooks from Acer and HP. 
According to Derek Appiah, “It has been created for Nigerians desirous of obtaining up-to-date information at the touch of a button.”
“The MTN Internet Netbook Bundle comprises monthly internet subscription from MTN and a choice of either HP or Acer Netbook at the best price. It is packaged to enable Nigerians enjoy access to the internet at affordable rates,” Appiah said.
According to him, the customer-friendly MTN Internet Netbook Bundle, which is available at MTN Service Centres and Connect Stores nationwide, gives subscribers a reward of up to N20,000 back for their subscription. It also comes in a variety of affordable packages.
Mr. Akinwale Goodluck, Corporate Services executive, MTN while commenting on the latest initiative from MTN, said the new MTN Internet Netbook Bundle is an innovative offer similar to bundled offerings which have become standard in many developed countries. Its introduction to the Nigerian market by MTN, according to Goodluck, is in line with the company’s commitment to enrich the lives of its teeming customers.
