Engineer Ibrahim Abdulsalam, managing director, Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) recently performed the ground-breaking foundation laying exercise for the ultra-modern showroom of the Federal Ministries of Transport/Aviation, FAAN, NCAA, NAMA and AIB Co-operative Society at Beesam.
The showroom which will afford members the opportunity to buy commodities, home appliances and other products from the co-operative society is one of the innovations by the present executive to cater to the needs of members.
Speaking at the occasion, Prince Adeyemi Joel, the president, described the event as “historic, given that the cooperative has never had a showroom since its creation”.
He noted that as one of his campaign promises, the ultra-modern showroom is the response to the yearnings and aspirations of members.
Also speaking, Engr. Abdulsalam commended the initiative and promised that “NAMA as a staff-driven agency would support any effort targeted at improving the welfare of workers.”
