Labaran Maku, Minister of Information has stated that the Federal Government is supplying computers to a good number of schools in Nasarawa state but did not specify the number of benefiting schools.

But Maku said each of the schools would receive 120 computers each. Each of the schools would also get free bandwidth from the government for one year and a diesel powered electricity generator set to improve power supply.

According to him, this effort by the Federal Government is to ensure that children of the state are introduced to the next stage of Education which is e-Learning.

He believes the Federal Government was doing a lot of work in the state, more than has ever been done in the history of the country.

“What we are doing at this moment is to bring infrastructure and development to Nasarawa. With what the State Government is doing and the comprehensive work of the Federal Government in Nasarawa, if we continue to witness peace in Nasarawa State, the state will move forward very quickly," said Maku .
