The New Terminal under construction at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport will boost commercial activity in Kano, according to Engineer Saleh Dunoma, managing director of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
Dunoma stated this while inspecting work at the New Terminal under construction.
According to him, the airport when completed will further expand the potential of the ancient city as a hub of commerce and industry.
Dunoma who was taken round the facility by Mr Wong, of CCECC, the contractors, called on the company to adhere to set standards in line with the sector's mantra of "Safety and Security".
Wong stated that the work is at 35 percent completion assuring that work is ongoing as scheduled.
The MD,was accompanied by Ibrahim Chatta, Ag. RGM Kano, Kabiru Mohammed Yusuf, Chief of Staff to the MD and other senior staff inspected the three floor edifice.
