Odidere FM, Osun New Radio Goes on Air

Osun State Government has launched a new radio station in called Odidere FM on 96.3 modulated frequency, according to Sunday Akere, commissioner for Information and Strategy.

The new station, an arm of the Reality Radio-Vision Service (RRS) in Iwo, was commissioned four months ago by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, state governor.

Akere said that the immediate transmission of the new station after its commissioning was delayed because the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Abuja needed to carry out a final inspection of installed equipment before giving a final nod for commencement of the radio station's full operations.

The commissioner further disclosed that the NBC engineers carried out a thorough inspection of the station and its equipment before the approval for the commencement of transmission.

He called on the people of Osun State, particularly the Iwo Federal Constituency and Osun West Senatorial district to patronize the radio station to make it achieve the objectives of its establishment.
