Samsung Electronics, a market leader and award-winning innovator in consumer electronics and digital convergence technologies has announced the launch of Dr. Samsung, a free service campaign.
The campaign will run from June 16 to 29, 2014 at select locations across the country.
Dr. Samsung offers free service on all products, both under warranty and out of warranty items such as mobile phones, television, audio visuals, digital cameras, I.T. products and home appliances sold in Nigeria.
Samsung SmartCareengineers will be present to conduct the servicing at specified activation locationsstarting in Abuja, Port Harcourt and Lagos during the two weeks campaign.
Samsung customers can take their products to these special service centres and for details regarding service centres, area, product specification they can also call: 0800-72678.
This service hotline will remain open 24/7 throughout the duration of the campaign.
Commenting on the campaign, Mr. Brovo Kim, managing director, Samsung Electronics West Africa, said, “Dr. Samsung is a reaffirmation of our commitment to providing our customers with the latest, top quality products backed by superior service and a widespread after sales service network. Samsung is committed to showing our customer appreciation by providing follow up servicing on all of our products.”
Some of the special offers that a customer can avail themselves of during the campaign include free service of products under warranty and 50 percent discount for spare parts on out of warranty products.
Larger products such as refrigerators, washing machines, room air conditioners and colour TVs over 22'' screen size will be service at the customers' homes.
Other products such as audio systems, DVDs, microwave ovens and colour TVs upto 22'' screen size will have to be brought in to the special centres to be serviced.
