Union Bank of Nigeria Plc’s participation at the 2010 Enugu International Trade Fair is to boost economic recovery of small and medium enterprises, agro allied companies and all categories of farmers as it is poised to offer full financial advisory services tailored to meet customers’ specific needs.
The bank is set specifically to assist small, medium and large scale farmers of cocoa, tree and arable crops, cotton, poultry and out-growers schemes under its commercial agriculture platform by offering loans with attractive rate with no hidden charges.
The bank’s participation in the disbursement of N200 billion Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) earmarked for commercial farming is an assurance that Union Bank would be more than ever ready to lend to qualified investors in the agric sector. The bank has the deepest penetration in the industry with highly experienced specialized officers.
In addition, the Fair would be offering the platform for the bank to provide full range of business advisory services on imports, oil and gas and solid minerals as well as foreign exchange transactions.
The bank would also parade value creating products and services for its numerous existing and prospective customers, namely Unionever, Savings/current account based products, Union lifetime accounts, Unionwealth, consumer credit finance loans products and Union galaxy, the electronic package, designed to meet various desires of high net-worth individuals, enterprise owners and students.

Customers could also make fund transfers by using e-payment channels like Nept, Union galaxy, corporate pay and RTGs as well as view their balances, print statement of accounts, transfer money to any bank account in Nigeria; buy airtime from any network as well as pay bills.
