Zain Unveils Top Millionaire Offer

Riding on the back of the success and wide acceptance of its just concluded Wake up a Millionaire Offer, Zain Nigeria has opened another window for many more Nigerians to become millionaires by unveiling an interactive, trivia-based initiative, called Top Millionaire Offer.
The promo which commenced on August 12, 2010 will end on Sunday, November 7, 2010.
Zain is offering participants in the Offer to win N1, 000,000.00 (one million naira) daily and N5, 000,000.00 (five million naira) monthly while those who scored the highest points in any particular week will receive the weekly N1, 000,000.00 (one million naira) prize. Winners of the daily N1, 000,000.00 and monthly N5, 000,000.00 prizes will be selected through a highly reliable computerised draw system.
According to Deepak Srivastava chief operating officer of Zain Nigeria, the offer is an affirmation of Zain’s commitment to create excitement and fun for telecoms consumers while offering them a lawful platform to become instant millionaires.
He also added that the offer demonstrates Zain’s enthusiasm in rewarding its loyal customers and offering them the opportunity to feel and touch the ‘Wonderful world’ brand promise of the company.
Speaking on the mechanism of the Promo, Srivastava revealed that points earned by customers during the SMS contest in any particular week will be the basis for selecting the weekly N1 million prize winner, explaining that the customer who earned the highest point will automatically win the weekly contest/ prize.
To participate in the offer, customers are expected to send a message with the keyword, ‘YES’ to the Promotion short code, 555, said Srivastava.
The offer is trivia-based, where subscribers would answer questions and gain maximum points called VIP Ranks for correct answers, and minimum points for incorrect answers.
However, the winners of the daily and monthly prizes will be determined through draws. He also noted that customers chances of winning in the daily, weekly and monthly draw will be determined by the number of questions they answer, saying that the more questions a customer answers, the more his/her chances of winning.
Participants will have an opportunity to win N1 million daily; earn points that will enable them to win N1 million weekly and qualify for a chance to win N5 million monthly during the 90 days span of the contest.
Winners in the promotion would be selected through raffle for the daily and monthly winners while the weekly winners would be participants with the highest number of points for the week. Selection of winners would be validated by an independent audit firm.
