Zenith Bank has given out 50 laptops with six months free internet access to students of secondary and tertiary institutions as part of its commitment to building entrepreneurship spirit in the young minds.
Mr. Jim Ovia, managing director/ CEO Zenith Bank Plc speaking at the Computer Telecoms and Online services (CTO) youth day event titled 'What Nigerian Youths Must do to Survive the Thrive as the World increasingly Globalizes and Economics Becomes Increasingly Unstable' sponsored by Zenith Bank Plc, advised the students to make use of the opportunities available to them to develop their skills adding that the bank was prepared to sponsor any creative idea.
He noted that skills in ICT are springboard for employment able to alleviate poverty, eradicate illiteracy and promote the living standard of the people.
The winners who were picked at random from a raffle draw comprised invited students from the secondary and tertiary institutions.
