ConSol, Mellanox Seal InfiniBand & Ethernet Servers Distribution Partnership

‎Mellanox Technologies Limited, on Wednesday cemented a partnership deal with Contact Solutions Limited (ConSol), for the distribution of its InfiniBand and Ethernet interconnect solutions and services in Nigeria.

Mellanox is a leading supplier of high-performance, end-to-end interconnect solutions for data center servers and storage systems.

Also, ConSol is the leading provider of contact centre services, management solutions and business processing outsourcing (BPO) to the information communication industry in West Africa.‎

Speaking during a press conference to announce the partnership, Ronen Bass, head of Sales & Business Development, Africa and Middle East, Mellanox ‎said that the Company's robust and flexible InfiniBand solutions offer higher interconnect speed, lower latency and smart accelerations to maximum efficiency will enable the users to achieve world-leading data center performance across a variety of applications.

Bass said that that Mellanox's solutions will positively impact enterprises' modeling for business changes, and seeking to validate their operations to have global reputation.

‎Mellanox's InfiniBand technology, he said, is faster, more scalable and provides higher throughput than alternative communications technologies.‎

‎Mellanox Technologies' InfiniBand products for computer clusters have been deployed in many of the TOP500 list of high-performance computers.

"Mellanox interconnect solutions provide low-latency, high-bandwidth, high message rate, transport offload for extremely low CPU overhead, remote direct memory access (RDMA) and advanced communications offloads.

Hence Mr. Abiodun Adeoye, managing director/CEO, Contact Solutions Limited (ConSol) said that they are used in large-scale simulations, replacing proprietary or low-performance solutions.‎

The  use of InfiniBand Technology, Nigeria CommunicationsWeek gathered has increased tremendously over time.

Adeoye said "ConSol usually combines specialist knowledge and expertise with solid execution capabilities to deliver customer management solutions to drive sales growth, efficient customer services and optimized operations".

‎Also speaking, Ran Almog, director for Product Management at the Company said Mellanox is actively contributing to high-performance computing outreach and education around the world and will replicate such in Nigeria.
