Eskimi, one of the largest social media platforms in Africa and South East Asia, is gearing up for the 2 major events during 2014: FIFA World Cup and Ramadan.

The platform said on Friday that advertising clients will be able to use innovative and engaging tools to co-brand with the World Cup and Ramadan events.

"We are working hard in Eskimi to be the best in 2 areas for our advertisement clients - performance and engagement. This is the main reason we need to connect with important events in the country and worldwide. This year Eskimi offers new engaging tools for clients to co-brand with football and Ramadan", said Vytautas Paukstys, chief executive officer of Eskimi while introducing the new projects.

Ramadan fanclub, he said, offers an opportunity to reach muslim audience

“Eskimi launched a Ramadan fanclub and offered it for sponsorship in 2013. It got a lot of attention from brands and engagement from users.

“Single posts in Ramadan fanclub were receiving up to 2000 comments and even more likes. Ramadan fanclub was one of the unique opportunities for the brand to talk directly to the muslim audience on Eskimi, which accounts 30% of the total Eskimi audience,” he added.

Eskimi also prepared few important tools for the brands to be part of the largest football fest in 2014-the World Cup.
