NACK, casual fashion brand, has joined the movement to support 2 million vulnerable Nigerians through the HelpNow initiative.

Using the brand’s latest collection, League of Xtraordinary Nigerians (LXN) – a movement designed to promote patriotism and unity amongst Nigerians, will spearhead the collaboration.

The partnership aims to get 20 extraordinary and influencial Nigerians from various industries to sign NACK’s LXN jerseys.

These autographed jerseys will be auctioned via social media and all proceeds will go to Helpnow.ng, offering much needed support to the destitute.

Already, ace comedian, Basketmouth & music legend, 2face Idibia have joined the movement.

HelpNow, an initiative of Softcom in partnership with like-minded corporate organizations, aspired to assist up to 2 million vulnerable Lagosians predominantly affected by COVID-19 has entered into a unique collaboration with the leading Nigerian fashion label, NACK.

NACK (Nigerian Articulate Culture Kollection) is a casual fashion brand creating a unified identity for the diverse cultures of Nigeria and Africa at large.

The brand’s latest collection, League of Xtraordinary Nigerians (LXN) – a movement designed to promote patriotism and unity amongst Nigerians, will spearhead the collaboration.

Speaking to the collaboration, Adewale Osideinde, key project manager of the HelpNow initiative, said “When you listen to testimonials of recipients on the HelpNow platform, you appreciate the impact of the pandemic in the lives of the less fortunate amongst us.

“Many are unable to provide food for themselves and their families. We thank Nigerians for extending a helping hand and donating to assist many of their fellow citizens.

“It’s important that we keep the moment and widen the net of people we can reach to ensure that less people go to bed hungry.

“I believe that the HelpNow and NACK partnership will be instrumental in helping us reach our goal.”

Tolulope Akinpeloye, founder and creative head, NACK, said “We are asking people to channel their love for fashion and style into charity. Through the partnership, people will be able to own rare autographed clothing items while helping to feed the most vulnerable people in our society. I think it is powerful.”

Currently, HelpNow has raised over 11 million Naira and have disbursed these funds to about 1850 households.
